Other Important Prom Info/FAQs

The safety of prom attendees is our top priority. All adult chaperones have completed a thorough background check. An off-duty Franklin police officer will also be present to guarantee the safety of all students. This officer volunteered specifically for this event and is an ally of the community. Furthermore, all chaperones will be wearing Wilco Iris lanyards and all students will receive a wristband at check-in to ensure that only authorized persons are in the building.
No student will be allowed to leave the venue and return to the prom once they have checked in (ex: students may not go outside to their car and then return to prom).
All bathrooms will be gender neutral. There will be a gender neutral bathroom with stalls and a gender neutral bathroom with urinals. Please feel free to use the bathroom of your choice.
Gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and vegan food and drink options will be available.
Students needing a break from the party are welcome to relax in our designated quiet area. Please remember there is no re-entry, so take your break in this area and not outside.
There will be an optional, designated photo area in the lobby. When taking candid photos, we ask all students to PLEASE remember to avoid taking photos of others without their consent. Not everyone is out. Be mindful of those in the background of your photos. For safety reasons, please wait until after the event is over to post photos to social media and only post photos of students who have given you their permission.
Purses and other small personal bags are allowed. Please do not bring full sized backpacks or other large bags. All bags are subject to search.
